We are seeking a talented and driven Marketplace Manager to scale our marketplace growth strategy and expand our presence across leading platforms.
Job Summary
The Marketplace Manager will be responsible for driving and scaling Ozarké’s growth across marketplaces like Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, and Bed Bath & Beyond. This role will also identify and pursue opportunities in emerging marketplaces, ensuring that our brand is well-positioned to capture market share. The ideal candidate has a strong background in marketplace operations, analytics, and strategy, combined with a passion for e-commerce growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for existing marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, etc.).
- Identify and launch Ozarké on new marketplace platforms, ensuring proper setup and alignment with brand goals.
Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize marketplace performance metrics, including sales, profitability, traffic, conversion rates, and customer reviews.
- Manage product listings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and SEO optimization for better discoverability and ranking.
- Inventory & Operations Management:
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure sufficient inventory levels across all marketplaces.
- Streamline fulfillment processes to meet marketplace-specific SLAs and customer expectations.
Advertising & Promotions:
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Amazon (PPC), Walmart Connect, and others.
- Develop promotional strategies to drive traffic and sales during key events (e.g., Black Friday, Prime Day).
Partnerships & Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers to stay updated on platform changes and opportunities.
- Negotiate terms and participate in promotional opportunities offered by marketplaces.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyze sales and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular performance updates and insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience managing marketplace platforms, preferably in the home goods or e-commerce industry.
- Proven track record of driving marketplace sales and managing large catalogs.
- Proficiency in tools like Amazon Seller Central, Wayfair Partner Portal, and other marketplace dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with marketplace advertising tools and strategies (e.g., Amazon PPC).
- Familiarity with inventory and order management systems is a plus.
