SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or development processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Develop and provide strategic input to management and staff.
- Develop, train, and provide leadership to Quality Assurance personnel. Instruct work group on the specific duties to be accomplished. Focus on
development of Quality Assurance Supervisor. - Represents the company in dealing with local, state, and federal inspectors to include OSHA, FDA, EPA and other government agencies.
- Organizes, directs & monitors the application of QA standards and testing procedures for beverages according to Coca-Cola and KDP protocols.
- Monitors syrup, concentrate, sweeteners, and other ingredients to ensure adequate quality and to prevent loss of yields/waste.
- Monitor and manage the hold process for all finished goods and raw materials.
- Monitor water treatment facility to ensure standards set by Coca-Cola and KDP, local, state and governmental agencies are being met.
- Work with all departments to ensure that the QMS and CI processes are robust and driving tangible results for the business.
- Drive the development, training and auditing of SOPs across the QA department and other departments as needed.
- Drive the development of the Quality Culture across all department. Drive to change from a QC environment to a QA Culture.
- Lead Yield/Waste Management across the plant
- Be the leader across the plant to drive equipment cleaning and sanitation effectiveness.
- Manage and lead plant-wide Product compliance to set standards.
- Use data collection and analysis tools available to improve and predict Quality and Yield performance, Identify gaps in date and/or tools and drive
solutions. - Other duties may be assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or five (5) years related work experience in management. Minimum of three (3) years of International Operations of Standardization (ISO) 14001 and 20001 experience. Good administrative and well-developed management principles and people skills.
- Language Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret written instruction. Ability to present and respond to common inquiries.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to provide guidance around formula validations and yield calculations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to define problems, analyze, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft (Office, Word, Excel).

Work in office doing large amount of phone and computer work. Must communicate with large groups of people in conferences and training sessions. Work will be in the production area to observe and assist. Production area is wet and slippery and has high levels of noise.
