What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Ozarks Luxury RV Resort?
The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the people and assets of Ozarks Luxury RV Resort. Their duties will include providing a presence at the security office/gate as a checkpoint to ensure all property, owners, and guests are provided a safe and secure environment. Routine periodic rounds of the property will be conducted to identify and document any illegal or unsafe activities. They will be available after hours to escort/assist guests to their assigned location and be a primary point of contact in the event of an emergency, e.g. fire, health, or criminal. The schedule will be rotating as assigned by the General Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES -
General:
§ Control entrance of the resort to screen and document owners and guests coming into and out of the resort in accordance with written protocols.
§ Patrol and monitor activities on resort property to discourage criminal activity and ensure the environment is safe and secure.
§ Evict trespassers and violators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive.
§ Monitor surveillance equipment for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
§ Provide end of shift reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to the General Manager.
§ Testing any installed security equipment to ensure proper functionality.
§ Use provided two-way communication equipment in a clear and concise manner.
§ Perform CPR, utilize AED, or first aid where needed.
§ Must dress and appear in a professional manner.
§ Will be the responsibility of the security officer on duty to maintain the security office appearance inside and out.
§ Must maintain the security golf cart and security vehicle appearance.
§ Know and understand the rules and regulations stipulated by the Resort’s CCR’s/By-Laws and enforce them.
Qualifications:
§ Minimum of 1 year experience (Preferred).
§ Must pass a background check.
§ No felony violations ever.
§ No more than 1 misdemeanor violation in last 3 years.
§ High School Graduate.
§ Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
§ Must agree to participate in random and reasonable suspicion drug screening.
§ Must have a current/valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
§ Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
§ Ability to operate basic vehicle equipment.

· American Heart Association CPR Qualified.
