- Collaborates with academic units to process the academic schedules for Springfield-based and online classes.
- Assists with annual academic scheduling processes for development of future class offerings.
- Aids the Director in providing training and support materials for various academic technology systems.
- Assists Director with the maintenance of the college’s scheduling software.
- Provides input and collaboration for improving room and resource utilization.
- Assists with scheduling of non-academic events and management of the college’s scheduling software.
- Processes final exam schedules in college’s scheduling software.
- Serves as the point of contact for Academic Affairs website information.
- Collaborates with the Web Services team to maintain the Academic Affairs website in alignment with established standards.
- Supports the Academic Affairs office in managing articulation agreements and transfer guides, ensuring alignment with academic policies and institutional requirements to maintain agreement integrity.
- Conducts an annual audit of established articulation agreements to ensure agreements are current and accurate.
- Assists the Academic Affairs office with reporting to various governmental offices at the local, state and federal levels.
- Collaborates with all areas of the college to aid in Academic Affairs related initiatives.
- Assists the Academic Affairs Office with new and ongoing projects.
- Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Comply with college policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including attending college functions, serving on committees and attending community events.
- Associate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the Department of Education.
- Strong understanding of academic technology systems and usage.
- Demonstrated strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of website design.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use information technology for professional productivity (such as Microsoft Office Suite).
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the Department of Education.
- One year of experience with academic systems
- Experience with Colleague or other SIS systems in higher education
- Advanced knowledge of website design.
- Experience with scheduling software, especially EMS.
- Experience working within a collegiate setting.
