Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and demonstrate proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments to maintain cash flow
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and general ledger entries
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Filing Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End State Taxes
• Investigate discrepancies in financial data and suggest corrective actions where necessary
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data
• Utilize Excel to analyze financial data and optimize accounting workflows

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the software industry is a plus
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft tools
• High numeric sensitivity and the ability to analyze financial data for trends and accuracy
