The Electrical & Mechanical Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for refurbishing, assembling, and manufacturing electrical and mechanical systems under limited supervision. The Technician will be a part of a team that focuses on producing high-quality products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement in the manufacturing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Electrical Manufacturing
Assemble, install, and maintain electrical systems, components, and wiring for products.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, control systems, and machinery.
Interpret and follow electrical schematics, wire lists, and technical specifications.
Ensure the proper functioning and safety of electrical systems, adhering to regulatory standards.
Perform testing, calibration, and inspections of electrical circuits and systems.
Mechanical Manufacturing
Assemble mechanical systems and components for various products.
Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems including motors, pumps, and plumbing systems.
Operate various power tools used in mechanical manufacturing processes.
Ensure mechanical equipment is built to specifications and operates efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems.
Production/Engineering Support
Work closely with other departments to assist in the development of prototypes and ensure product functionality.
Complete production to meet ship dates and deadlines while maintaining a high level of product quality.
Document work performed, including tests, modifications, and maintenance.
Participate in testing and quality control processes to ensure products meet performance and safety standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience
Associate degree or Certificate in Manufacturing & Engineering Technology, or three years’ experience in electrical and mechanical manufacturing or a related field. Hands-on experience with electrical circuits, control systems, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting.
Language Ability
Ability to speak and read English, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schematics, and technical procedures. Ability to speak effectively before groups of management and co-workers of organization.
Math Ability
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. Proficiency with email required. Experience with ERP systems preferred.
