P & B Cold Storage, Inc. has an opening for an Inventory Control Specialist. This position is a full-time position reporting to the Inventory Control manager.

Job Summary: Inventory Control Specialists oversee tracking the customer’s product. They must recognize and resolve quantity discrepancies, make inventory reports, and prepare extensive quantitative statements that help with inventory control duties.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
· Complete daily aisle reports fixing all location discrepancies.
· Conduct weekly cycle counts required by specific customer’s needs.
· Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a quarterly basis.
· Operate a forklift and other necessary vehicles to properly handle materials.
· Work directly with the Inventory Control Manager daily.
Qualifications:
Experience or Training Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Good understanding of modern warehousing.
· Basic understanding of accurate inventory keeping.
· Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.
· Complete understanding of accurate inventory keeping.
License or Certificate Required:
· Valid driver’s license
· Forklift driver’s certification
· Forklift attachment(s) certification
Mandatory Job Requirements:
The requirements that an individual must possess to perform the essential functions of
the job:
1. Able to receive and delegate orders diplomatically.
2. Must be people-oriented.
3. Minimum high school education.
4. Must have basic math skills.
5. Good reading, writing, and oral skills
