PB Sullivan Construction and Hawaii Organics Compost are looking for a dedicated, organized, and eco-minded individual to manage our scale house operations and oversee the day-to-day management of our green waste site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the scale house, accurately weighing incoming and outgoing materials
- Track green waste volumes and maintain detailed records
- Greet and assist customers, contractors, and delivery drivers with professionalism
- Ensure proper sorting and processing of green waste
- Monitor site safety and cleanliness
- Oversee equipment and coordinate with composting team as needed
- Support deliveries, pickups, and material sales
- Help educate customers about composting best practices
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for recycling, composting, and sustainability
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on environment
- Experience operating scale systems or willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
- Prior experience in waste management, agriculture, or landscaping is a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate or assist with machinery (training provided)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
