Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications.
- Ensure all meat products are packaged properly for display or sale.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the cutting process.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill meat orders for restaurant operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist in stock rotation.
- Keep work area clean and organized, following all health regulations.
- Assist in training new staff members on meat cutting techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in meat cutting or similar roles within food production or culinary environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Proficiency with knives and other kitchen equipment essential for meat preparation.
- Experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
