This is percentage position - 27% of the line haul. 1 round is usually about $472 - needs to be a minimum of 3 rounds per week. Round robin (most of the time)MUST BE ON TIME.Bring steel up to customer and bring back scrap / crush cars back to Midlothian. Most of the time, it is a drop / hook. some loads do need to be tarped depending on the customerDriving Responsibilities
- Transporting finished goods and / or raw materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and light preventative maintenance as needed
- Comply with all commercial motor vehicle regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Class A CDL requiredQualifications
- Class a CDL required
- At least 23 years old.
- 1 year of driving experience with a Class A commercial vehicle driver's license.
- No DWI or DUI listed on MVR in the past three (3) years.
- No more than one "at-fault" accident on MVR within the past three (3) years.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen as established by the U.S. Department of Transportation in 49 CFR Parts 391 and 40.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
