Company Overview :
Job Summary :
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling, formatting, and distributing a significant portion of the company’s financial data generated for internal and external users. The data produced includes monthly and quarterly results of the total business, targeted analyses, and ad hoc requests from management and private equity investors. This will entail utilizing Excel, NetSuite, and the company’s PMS, Ascend. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will work cross-functionally typically to satisfy data requests from the executives and the M&A team. Finally, the Senior Financial Analyst will also assist with managing and developing a Financial Analyst.
Overall, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be 2 / 3rds dedicated to traditional FP&A responsibilities and 1 / 3rd dedicated to supporting the in-house M&A team.
Essential Duties :
Prepare the monthly reporting package presented to the executive team, private equity ownership, and lenders.
Manage various financial reports and analyses such as Budget variance analysis, collections forecasting, pricing analysis, non-dentist wage analysis, overhead spend summary, and margin analysis.
Complete special requests as needed typically focused on gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial information.
Support a financial analyst by reviewing their work and offering technical guidance.
Support M&A team with opportunity tracking, analysis of targets’ earnings, and postmortem deal analysis.
Support M&A team with preparing documentation for closing.
Support executives with financial and operational data as needed.
Assist substantially with the development of the annual Budget.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Advanced Excel skills, including familiarity with macros, with the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets with little to no supervision.
Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance professionals.

What We're Looking For :
Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, or related business degree
2-5 years of relevant work experience
Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) a plus
