Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Appian Architect with extensive experience in implementing large-scale Appian projects. The role requires direct involvement in the architecture and design of applications built on the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to guide, advise, and coach client stakeholders who are familiar with Appian but not experts.
The architect should actively participate in architecture and design sessions, build foundational components on the Appian platform, and lead offshore vendor teams while collaborating with Appian professional services. Experience in the capital markets domain is highly desirable; however, candidates with banking domain expertise will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable solutions on the Appian platform for large projects.
- Guide and coach stakeholders to improve their proficiency in Appian.
- Lead and participate in architecture and design whiteboard sessions.
- Develop foundational components on the Appian platform.
- Collaborate with Appian professional services and lead offshore vendor teams.
- Ensure alignment with client business goals and technical requirements.
- Provide thought leadership and best practices for Appian implementation.
- Travel to Boston as required if relocation is not feasible.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Appian architecture and implementation of large projects.
- Strong knowledge of Appian best practices and design principles.
- Hands-on expertise in developing foundational components on Appian.
- Leadership experience in managing offshore vendor teams.
- Ability to advise and coach stakeholders with varying levels of Appian expertise.
- Experience in capital markets or banking domain projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Needed Certifications:
- Appian Certified Lead Developer or Architect (Preferred).
