What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Manager position at P3 Services?
The Field Service Manager is the Tactical Leader for our business, reporting directly to the GM, and responsible for the profitable execution of projects and repairs, while ensuring excellent customer service, optimizing sales opportunities, and maintaining operational excellence. This role requires a proven and strong leader to drive the development and effectiveness of our technicians, manage daily operations, and develop strategies to meet revenue and profit goals.
Core Requirements & Competencies:
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Plumbers, HVAC Techs and Electricians
- Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals, critical metrics, and company updates
- Recruit, hire and develop new and existing team members to maintain service standards
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase service revenue
- Ability to coach on upselling opportunities and train on presenting solutions to customers
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure quality customer service through prompt, professional, & courteous interactions
- Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively, and coach to prevent in the future
- Build long-term customer relationships by ensuring satisfaction with the services provided
Operational Oversight
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate supplies of parts and tools
- Implement/Actualize SOP’s and processes to maintain standards & operational excellence
- Familiarity with and proactive use of performance metrics, reports, etc, to drive results
Requirements
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in leading field service and installation teams
- Experience working within organizations with annual revenues >$3 million/year
- Proven record of driving revenue and profit growth within the contracting industry
- Service Titan experience a PLUS
