Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Generalist supports a wide variety of Human Resources related tasks such as talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, etc. across multiple locations, serving as the point of contact for HR related inquiries and requests. The Human Resources Generalist will ensure all functions are in compliance with regulatory requirements, including federal, state, and local law as well as Department of Health requirements and company policy/procedure.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Provide support, guidance, and advice as questions and issues arise, ensuring consistent application of Company policy, in a timely, accurate manner.
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- In collaboration with company leaders, develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and processes to achieve staffing objectives.
- Manage leave of absences to include FMLA and ADA accommodation request, ensure compliance, and maintain continued communication with team member and managers.
- Assist the HR Manager with investigations and help bring employee issues and conflicts to resolution.
- Create and promote programs to create an efficient, conflict-free workplace by resolving issues promptly.
- Analyze metrics and trends to provide guidance and feedback to managers.
- Support Company culture initiatives and special projects.
- Organize and facilitate employee training and development initiatives.
- Participate on committees and special projects as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
- Any comparable combination of skills and experience.
- Three to five years’ experience across human resources functions/disciplines.
- Experience with HR metrics and data to support decision making.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to multi-task and develop creative solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with office programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team as well as influence others.
