PacAero Agawam is seeking a highly skilled CMM Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), with a strong background in quality control and precision measurements in a manufacturing environment. The CMM Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring that all parts and components meet the highest quality standards through accurate measurements and inspections.

Requirements :

• CMM Inspection & Measurement : Operate CMM equipment (manual or automated) to inspect parts, assemblies, and components according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Documentation & Reporting : Record inspection results accurately and generate detailed inspection reports, including any non-conformances or deviations. Ensure that all documents are maintained for traceability and regulatory compliance.
• First Article & In-Process Inspections : Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards at each stage of production.
• Calibration & Maintenance : Perform routine calibration and maintenance on CMM equipment to ensure optimal accuracy and functionality.
• Root Cause Analysis : Investigate quality issues, identify root causes of defects, and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements within the inspection process, suggest modifications to increase efficiency and accuracy, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Collaboration : Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality Control teams to support production goals and resolve any quality-related issues.
• Safety & Compliance : Adhere to all safety standards and protocols while performing inspections, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management standards.
