PACCAR Engine Company has an immediate opening for a Safety Intern in Columbus, MS.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Special Project Assistance including, but not limited to:
- Assist in Creating Safety Information Boards for each Department
- Assist Safety Manager in Creating Confined Space Inventory Listing
- Conduct Monthly Inspections in Facility to Improve Safety Knowledge
- Assist Safety Manager with Upgrading of Facility Evacuation Maps
- Review Policies and Procedures
- File Audits and Improve Record Keeping for Safety Documentation
- Other tasks as assigned
- Pursuing B.S. Degree in Human Resource, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or Manufacturing Engineering
- MS Office proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint).
- Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment required.
