Job Description
Responsible for maintaining the process and production quality standards within their assigned molding area.
- Responsible for all Safety, Quality and Production functions related to their assigned area.
- Responsible for maintaining production part quality standards and addressing non-conforming parts.
- Maintains established production schedules by maintaining cycle times, cavitation and internal scrap at or better than target.
- Maintain process and inform Shift Supervisor and/or Production Manager of any deviations.
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift.
- Supervise up to 4 employees and perform shipping responsibilities during weekend work hours.
Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience in injection molding plastic industry.
- Indepth experience in running Husky Injection Molding machine preferred.
- Experience in high cavitation thin wall molding preferred.
- Thermoforming and/or Extrusion experience a plus.
