What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sample Transport Specialist position at Pace® Analytical Services?
The Sample Transport Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of samples and related items from one location to another. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering samples, documents, and materials as needed.
Some of the essential functions of this role include:
- Picks up, transports, and delivers samples, documents, materials, and other items as required.
- Reviews, completes, and processes documents, databases, and related materials and information for sample pick up, transport, and delivery.
- Prepares vehicles or trucks for daily operations, including documents, safety, and related areas.
- Provides basic support in the application and assistance to staff and management regarding the transport of samples.
- Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; receives guidance and direction or escalates when required.
- Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
