As we expand, we seek a highly experienced Electrical Project Manager for our commercial division to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and timely completion.
Position Summary:
The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of large commercial electrical construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and subcontractor management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical construction and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Implement and oversee cost control measures to keep projects within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and field teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to project delays, budget overruns, and material shortages.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
- Optimize labor and material usage to maximize profitability.
- Support the estimating team by reviewing bids, proposals, and scope definitions.
- Mentor and guide project teams to ensure efficiency and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in electrical construction project management, with a focus on large commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong expertise in project scheduling, cost control, and contract management.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
