Manufacturing Quality Engineer
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards throughout the entire product lifecycle, from development to manufacturing. You will drive process improvement, resolve quality issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System (QMS): Support, maintain, and enhance the QMS.
- Auditing: Conduct process and product audits to ensure compliance.
- Inspection: Perform first-piece and incoming inspections, and manage supplier SCARs.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineers to define quality requirements for new products.
- Documentation: Develop and update PFMEAs and Control Plans.
- Customer Support: Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns.
- Corrective Actions: Analyze nonconformance reports and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Process Improvement: Conduct internal audits and mentor process owners.
- Team Participation: Contribute to improvement teams focused on safety, quality, and cost.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on internal and external quality data.
- Continuous Improvement: Perform other duties to support quality systems and operations.
Essential Skills:
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret engineering prints and specifications.
- Knowledge of QMS systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with various measurement gauges and tools.
