Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Inspire: Provide exceptional leadership to your team, from recruitment and training to coaching, development, and performance management. Your leadership will set the tone for the team’s success.
- Innovate & Improve: Shape the future of our care programs by developing and implementing strategies that elevate the quality of service, enhance participant satisfaction, and achieve program growth.
- Collaborate & Coordinate: Be the glue that connects various departments, stakeholders, and community service providers to deliver seamless care.
- Drive Results: Oversee the department’s operations and budget, ensuring goals are met and quality standards are upheld. Your keen eye for improvement will help us achieve outstanding outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field is preferred.
- Licensing/Certifications: Valid Michigan licensure as required, CPR certification (we can train!), valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- Experience: 5 years in home or community health, with at least 1 year working with elderly or frail populations. Previous leadership experience (at least 2 years) in a healthcare setting is a big plus!
- Skills: You’re a natural leader with a passion for healthcare! You bring excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to the table. You have experience with leading downstream leaders and indirect reports.
- Physical Demands: You’re comfortable moving between various environments, from offices and healthcare facilities to participant homes. A flexible, hands-on approach is key!
