Are you looking to grow your skills in supply chain or inventory management? We’re hiring a Material Distribution Tech to join a hospital-based team in Olympia, WA, where you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting essential healthcare operations.
What You’ll be Doing…
·Receive incoming stock and non-stock shipments at the receiving dock
·Crosstrain and assist with inventory coordination when not on the dock
·Use Geniss and a computerized Materials Management Information System (MMIS) to track and manage supplies
·Conduct physical inventories and replenish supply areas, including patient care and ancillary departments
·Pick, deliver, and stock both stock and non-stock supplies with accuracy
·Coordinate outgoing freight and parcel shipments
·Respond to phone, fax, and electronic supply requests
Here’s what your work history needs to show as evidence that you’re the right candidate…
·At least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in inventory systems, receiving, warehousing, and/or supply distribution using a computerized MMIS in a perpetual inventory system
·Coursework or formal training in inventory or supply distribution management (preferred but not mandatory)
·Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital environment (preferred but not mandatory)
·Familiarity with material handling equipment such pallet jacks or hand trucks (preferred but not mandatory)
Here’s the important details:
·Location: Olympia, WA
·Pay Rate: $22 to $24 per hour
·Assignment Duration: 3 months with potential to extend or convert to hire
·Schedule: 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm (flexible start time)
·Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check, provide up to date immunization records, and a recent health screening.
