Role Overview :
Job Type : Full time; Contract (3 months)
Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM or 7 AM - 4 PM. Some flexibility can be reviewed with the Manager. There is potential for emergency on-call as necessary.
Pay Rate : 34.09 per hour
As a Mobile Facilities Tech at PDS Tech Commercial, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of facility systems—HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and more—across multiple facilities. Your work will ensure smooth operations, efficiency, and the safety of all building systems. This is a critical role that helps drive the success of the facilities and contributes to our ongoing commitment to excellence.
Your Day-to-Day :
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems across multiple sites.
Ensure proper function of building systems by addressing issues before they become problems.
Monitor and maintain equipment to optimal performance levels, including cleaning, calibrating, and replacing parts.
Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
Handle emergencies and unplanned work orders, providing effective and timely solutions.
Travel between facilities, ensuring consistency in operations and maintenance across all sites.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by following safety protocols and eliminating potential hazards.
Qualifications : Required :
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2-4 years of hands-on experience with building systems maintenance and repairs.
EPA 608 Type II Certification.
Strong knowledge of commercial or industrial HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Ability to analyze problems, determine causes, and implement corrective actions.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities.
Preferred :
EPA 608 Universal Certification.
Technical training in electrical systems design, refrigeration, or HVAC.
4 years of technical experience in building engineering, including system design and application.

Pay Details : 34.09 per hour
