Job Summary
The PaceMate™ Clinical Quality Assurance Specialist position is responsible for generating and implementing quality assurance standards, conducting quality inspections, identifying production problems and recommending solutions. Success in this role will be demonstrated by developing and implementing strategies to meet production targets and optimizing costs to improve margins.
PaceMateLIVE™ is the only cardiac remote monitoring platform offering integration with all EHRs and all cardiac device types in one dashboard, providing all patient data live from day one, and enabling intelligent patient prioritization with its unique Auto-Triage™ feature that focuses on the actionable first.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements andPaceMate™ standards
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Perform audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate quality metrics to drive process improvements and enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Protected Health Information (PHI) standards/protocol
- Support and contribute to PaceMate™’s patient-centered care philosophy: Every teammate is a caregiver whose role is to meet the needs of the patient
- Involvement in special projects or other duties as assigned.

Education, Training, And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, engineering)
- Successful completion of a cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of recent cardiac device management experience
- Experience with interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics for all 4 major manufacturers (Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)
- International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certifications (CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS) required
- Proven experience in clinical quality assurance within the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as Medicare reimbursement guidelines and ISO standards
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiencywith collaboration applicationsand software(Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Slack)
