PORTFOLIO MARKET STRATEGIST
Pacer Advisors is looking to fill the role of Portfolio Market Strategist.
Pacer Advisors is the investment advisor to Pacer ETFs. Pacer ETFs is one of the fastest growing ETF companies, with over $46 Billion in AUM and over 50 funds.
The Portfolio Market Analyst will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the investment management process impacting all segments of the firm. Working with the investment team will develop both the quantitative and qualitative skills of the candidate.
Required Skills and Background:
- Strong knowledge of the asset management industry, economy, and equity markets.
- Comprehensive understanding of economic, financial, fundamental, and technical aspects of the investing lifecycle.
- At least 5 years of experience in asset management and investment research with client facing experience, knowledge of ETFs a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints, maintain constant communication with various teams, and demonstrate a commitment to meeting deadlines with extreme attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with FactSet and Bloomberg.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel.
- CFA, CIMA or other relevant designations are encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the methodologies of the Pacer funds, both individually and within a portfolio.
- Monitor and analyze Capital Markets, Federal Reserve activity, and performance drivers on both a macroeconomic and security-specific level and effectively communicate these insights to support the sales team and our clients.
- Create, develop, and share thought leadership content based on market and economic conditions for internal use and the financial advisor network.
- Engage with our clients about market and economic impact on fund performance and the ETF market structure.
- Evaluate and review existing strategies with our current index partners and identify potential new index partnerships.
- Conduct research, testing and development of investment strategies
- Provide regular communications, analysis, and insights to our Sales team for use with financial professionals.
- Provide necessary reporting to ETF Portfolio Managers and Pacer Management both Retail and Institutional.
- Utilize FactSet, Bloomberg, Morningstar, and other various systems to evaluate fund data. .
- Works closely with Marketing and Distribution teams to ensure updated and impactful data.
- Availability to work in-office Monday through Friday.
