WM seeks an experience Business Analyst to join our Digital Disposal Applications Team. The team currently has a project to perform enhancements to our existing PointofSale and environmental compliance system Fastlane. The project will build on enhance or enable new functionalities in the system to better enable pricing rate changes and improve customer experience by performing visibility improvements to invoices. The role will work with multiple technical and business stakeholders to ensure end to end success of the workflow.

Specifically the person must have recent experience working on software application development projects where they are responsible for defining and documenting the application requirements working with development and quality assurance teams for a successful deployment.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communications skills. Additionally the candidate should have experience in developing functional and technical software requirements and use cases in complex software development and integration projects. The candidate must be comfortable interacting with both frontline and senior stakeholders to discuss business needs and to facilitate a clear understand of issues and their priority.

Superior Documentation skills and Organizational skills are paramount. Must have a driven intellectual curiosity to understand and anticipate functional issues as systems are integrated. Selected hire will have significant business process change experience and functional command of systems integration efforts coupled with exceptional Use Case Development skills. With heavy documentation behind business process changes amidst the technical integration the selected hire must have experience with project / process documentation and an ability to create a functional library of crossreferenced documents. The selected hire will have exceptional verbal & written communication skills be comfortable interacting with Sr. Leaders in Business and Technology and be proactive in eliciting information probing for details and foreseeing technical / stakeholder challenges before they occur.

General Responsibilities

• Coordinates with users to determine and document business and user requirements process flow definitions and functional specifications.
• Responsible for document repositories maintenance and updates of project documentation library.
• Create workflow diagrams and screen mockups
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Under minimal supervision acts as a liaison between the technology and business groups in the development of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
• Conduct advanced level business process analysis needs assessments and preliminary cost / benefit analysis to align technology solutions with business initiatives.
• Leads project team with gaining business user acceptance.
• Reviews progress and evaluates results for accuracy and efficiency.
• Resolves issues arising from internal department functions or as brought forth by internal or external customers to assigned department.
• Tracks issues to resolution within department and in partnership with other groups.
• Monitors overall workflow to ensure timely completion of projects and daily work requirements.
• Work with Dev and testing teams to explain requirements do sanity checks and review test cases
• Write acceptance criteria for stories and defects
