Work Schedule : Monday - Friday | 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to research, test, and evaluate the design, functionality, and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes. The ideal candidate will develop quality standards, ensure product integrity, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This role requires expertise in PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA with strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, IATF standards, and MiniTab software.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and sampling processes.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports.
Evaluate product integrity and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Establish programs to assess precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing facilities.
Utilize statistical methods and software (MiniTab, MS Suite) for data analysis and process improvement.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and constructive feedback to team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reliability.
Conduct training sessions on quality control processes and best practices.
Direct and oversee workers engaged in product measurement, testing, and data tabulation.
Required Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
Experience : 5-7 years in quality engineering or related field.
Technical Proficiency : Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and other engineering software.
