Maintenance Technician SWING SHIFT

PacAero’s core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface.

The Position:

PacAero is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our specialized manufacturing maintenance team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will receive on-the-job training to help you learn the skills necessary for success in this position. You will be an integral part of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring that our plant and equipment are operating efficiently and effectively. An employee in this role will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems as well as production machines and equipment.

Position Schedule/Training Schedule:

This position will train on day shift (Monday through Friday from 5am to 1:30pm) and following completion of training, which typically lasts 3-6 months, will move to a permanent swing shift schedule (Monday through Friday from 1pm to 9pm). Swing shift positions include a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machines to ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently.
• Work with other maintenance team members to troubleshoot and repair equipment when issues arise.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
• Learn and comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Test electronic components and circuits to locate defects.
• Aligns, adjusts and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Starts devices to test their performance. Initiates requisition for parts and machines. Repairs electrical equipment.
• Learns to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
• A one year certificate from a college or technical school or two years directly related experience and/or training preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates with CNC maintenance experience.
