The PACE School is a non-profit, non-public school located in the San Francisco Bay Area (Santa Clara) that serves students ages 6-22 with moderate to severe autism. PACE supports students from over 20 school districts in they Bay Area. We’re looking for an energetic special education teacher we wants to build a career making a difference in education.
As a PACE Special Education Teacher, you will work closely with an inter-disciplinary team comprised of an SLP, OT and certified behaviorist who are all working exclusively within the school. PACE Special Education Teachers have a small class size (6-8 students per class) with exceptional paraprofessional support in a mostly 1:1 environment. You will have absolute creativity in developing your curriculum!

Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for coordinating a vibrant educational environment and curriculum for your classroom of 6-8 students.
- Capable of providing developmentally enhanced learning experiences that are designed to support and train the students, staff and parents.
- Review and develop functional skills-based curriculum to adapt to the individualized needs of each student.
Salary : $65,000 - $110,000
