Who We Serve 

Pacific Clinics serves children, transitional age youth, families, adults, and older adults. We offer a full range of mental and behavioral health services, foster care and social services, housing, continuing adult education and early childhood education programs to Medi-Cal eligible individuals and families throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Fresno, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Orange, Placer, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Stockton, Tulare and Ventura Counties.  

JOB SUMMARY

Scheduled Hours per Day: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm

Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency.  Assists in day-to-day, month-end, and year-end accounting and financial reporting functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Maintains, analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts.

2. Prepares and maintains asset liability and other financial transaction records. 

3. Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries.

4. Establishes table of accounts, and assigns entries to proper accounts.

5. Analyzes and prepares periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs.

6. Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits, verifies, and/or processes information or data.

7. Generates reports and responds to inquiries utilizing finance systems.

8. Structures or classifies multiple pieces of information and presents information appropriately for variety of audiences. 

9. Actively participates in and develops organization and process improvements. 

10. Performs other responsibilities, as assigned, to support department and business needs.

• Demonstrate an in-depth and broad knowledge of numbers, their operations, and interrelationships including arithmetic, algebra.

• Apply agency and Finance policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting practices to resolve a variety of accounting issues.

• Understand and organize a problem and then to select a mathematical method or formula to solve the problem.

• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Associate's Degree (AA/ AS) with accounting emphasis required 

OR

• High School Diploma/GED and  4 years related accounting experience required 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

• Associate's Degree (AA/ AS) with accounting emphasis required

High School Diploma/GED and  4 years related accounting experience required
