As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to oversee compliance, analytical testing, and documentation processes within our operations.
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager with expertise in gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and regulatory compliance specific to the flavor and fragrance industry. You’ll be responsible for managing product documentation, regulatory reporting, and analytics for our raw materials. Additionally, this role will collaborate closely with our Quality Control (QC) Manager and oversee a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage our GC/MS system to analyze raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with GHS (Globally Harmonized System), IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards, EU Allergen Reports, and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of SDS (Safety Data Sheets), technical data sheets, and regulatory documentation.
- Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) Manager to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Manage and provide guidance to a small team in regulatory and analytical functions.
- Stay up to date on global regulatory changes in the flavor and fragrance sector.
- Communicate with customers and regulatory agencies regarding compliance and documentation requests.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Experience: 3-5years in regulatory within the flavor or fragrance industry.
✅ Technical Skills: Strong experience with GC/MS testing and regulatory compliance.
✅ Knowledge: Familiarity with IFRA, EU Allergens, GHS, and industry best practices.
✅ Leadership: Prior experience managing or mentoring a small team.
✅ Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and documentation skills.
✅ Communication: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $125,000 - 165,000/year (based on prior experience)
