Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union (Pacific Crest) is a rapidly growing not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We are currently growing our Consumer Lending Team. We are hiring for a LOAN CENTER CONSULTANT 1 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Fulfills role as a member of the Pacific Crest Consumer Lending Team and provides a great member experience that advances the mission, vision and values of the organization. Builds and maintains successful member relationships by promoting and booking loans for members/non-members who apply over the phone or internet for all branches. Maximizes opportunities with each member interaction to sell products and services to enhance the member relationship, creating financial success.

Essential Job Functions

Contribute to the fulfillment of Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union mission.

Understand and effectively navigate, and accurately input loan application data into credit union systems.

Interacts with members/non-members across all credit union utilized communication channels to obtain the required information to process the loan request.

Know all credit union products and services, understand and effectively articulate how they can benefit the member.

Deepen and enhance member relationships by cross-selling credit union services to members.

Know and follow the credit union’s consumer lending processes and procedures, policies and applicable primary state and federal government rules and regulations.

Work with underwriter to collect any requested documents or information.

Effectively communicate loan decisions to loan applicants including next steps.

Get approved loan requests to loan processors in a timely manner.

As needed, work with loan processors to work with member to finalize loan documents and/or needed documents.

Drive personal development by leveraging monthly coaching and participate in continuing education to qualify for a Loan Center Consultant 2.

SPECIAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary.

Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Stooping; kneeling; crouching; and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required.
