Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following GAAP and company guidelines. Manage financial closing procedures and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Lead and guide the accounting team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. Foster professional growth and cultivate a collaborative work environment.
- Supervise accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Supervise inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and cost analysis.
- Establish and execute efficient internal controls to protect company assets and uphold financial data integrity. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry norms.
- Evaluate and implement accounting systems, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency and ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and oversee tax filings. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Enhance financial processes and systems, utilizing NetSuite for effectiveness and precision.
- Offer financial insights and recommendations to senior management to aid business growth. Engage in strategic planning initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a CPA certification.
- At least 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
- Experience in inventory accounting is essential, with a preference for experience in the beauty or skincare industry.
- Thorough understanding of NetSuite and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated success in managing financial operations, audits, and regulatory compliance.
Salary : $150,000 - $205,000
