What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Pacific Mobile Structures, Inc.?
We are looking for a skilled repair person to undertake the upkeep and repair of mobile office units, both interior and exterior within our Chehalis territory. This is a field position. We’ll rely on you to meet our quality standards for units to maintain the customer satisfaction that we strive for. In this role you will be doing electrical and plumbing troubleshooting and repair along with carpentry work. Your goal is to drive service success that ensures customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability. To be successful, masterful hands and knowledge of the trades are an important part of your skillet. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and self-motivation are also key for being successful in this role.
Wage Range: $26.44 - $28.44 per hour DOE

Job Description
Hours:7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday or as determined by Management
Perform Long term maintenance and service calls on Mobile Offices at customer sites
General repairs to mobile office units using carpentry and other skills relevant to the task
Install/remove counter tops, plan tables and movable partition system
Perform electrical troubleshooting in mobile/modular units
Perform basic plumbing repairs in mobile and modular units
Install security items such as deadbolts, latch guards, and security bars
General cleaning of interior and exterior of mobile and modular units
Keep vehicle and client working areas clean
Complete daily tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager
Skills/Qualifications:
2 years verifiable experience working as a Carpenter, Foreman, or Field/Customer Service representative with limited to no supervision
Strong customer service skills
Above average knowledge of electrical and or mechanical systems
General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use
Plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repair
Provide an acceptable driver’s abstract and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per Pacific Mobile standards
Forklift certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for up to 8 hours
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted
Work outside in all weather conditions
Operate handheld power tools
Wear personal protective equipment
Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
