Position Overview
The Government Account Manager will focus on selling to new customers, as well as cultivating and growing our installed base of customers. Customers include both Federal and State and Local Governments. The Government Account Manager will work with contracting officers and partners to sell through our ecosystem. The Government Account Manager will sell new products and services, maintenance agreements, as well as prepare proposals, bid responses and quotes.

Responsibilities and Duties
· Ability to convert leads to opportunities and close deals
· Work closely with partners in a collaborative environment
· Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders to understand customer’s business and develop strategic roadmaps
· Cold calling
· Develop proposals and bid responses
· Effectively demonstrate the value of our company and solutions
· Stay on top of industry and technology trends to identify potential opportunities
Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor’s degree or better in business, technical discipline, or engineering
· Experience with federal markets
· Experience working with contract vehicles
· 5 Years of experience in a customer-facing role
· Prior military experience is an asset
· Prior experience in technology sales highly desired
· Knowledge of telecommunications
· Technical aptitude
· Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written
· Self-motivated
· Ability to work both independently and with a team
· Detail-oriented and good time management skills
· Ability to persevere in the face of adversity
· Microsoft Office experience
· Strong business ethics
· Ability to travel within Hawaii and several mainland trips per year
· Drug test required
