Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an RF Technician I to join our team. As an RF Technician I, you will play a crucial role in installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment on communication towers. This position offers the opportunity for growth and development within the telecommunications industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn to climb and work on communications towers safely.
- Utilize tools and materials effectively to execute tasks within specifications.
- Acknowledge and mitigate hazards associated with tower climbing and construction.
- Demonstrate site safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
- Execute tasks according to method of procedure.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment performance issues.
- Maintain professionalism when collaborating with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to travel overnight and work in adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with heights and physical tasks such as climbing towers, squatting, bending, and lifting (up to 50lbs).
- Possession of a current valid Driver’s License or CDL is advantageous.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Excellent listening skills and a willingness to learn.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug (including marijuana) and background screening.
- Local to market.
