Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an RF Technician II to join our team. As an RF Technician II, you will play a crucial role in installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment on communication towers. This position requires familiarity with industry tools, materials, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Perform tower climbs to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing tools and materials specific to the telecommunications industry.
- Ability to learn and develop expertise in assembling antenna sector frames, antennas, RRU/RRH (Remote Radio Units/Remote Radio Heads), Power and Fiber Distribution systems to industry standards.
- Eagerness to gain skills in installing coaxial cables, power, and fiber trunks, and making coax connections to ensure reliable RF signal transmission.
- Willingness to become proficient in tower stacking and tower modification.
- Acknowledge and mitigate hazards associated with tower climbing, construction materials, and working near energized lines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment performance issues.
- Maintain professionalism when collaborating with team members, supervisors, and project managers.
- Willingness to travel overnight and work in adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with heights and physical tasks such as climbing towers, squatting, bending, and lifting (up to 50lbs).
- Possession of a current valid Driver’s License or CDL is advantageous.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Excellent listening skills and a willingness to learn.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug (including marijuana) and background screening.
- Local to market.
