Job Purpose:
To ensure that all equipment in the Stockton facility is maintained to optimal performance by performing a variety of general maintenance tasks. Supporting the facility’s needs by performing inspections, providing oversight of maintenance work, and eliciting the location’s upkeep needs from Plant Managers and the Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
· Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and
repair
· Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition
· Perform regular preventive maintenance on all equipment
· Maintains equipment to ensure proper functioning and lasting performance.
· Implement workplace safety policies and standards
· Regularly update Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager with the facility’s needs, goals, and accomplishments
Competencies:
- Understanding of basic materials and equipment - both hand and power tools, which are required to perform a variety of improvement and repair (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.) work.
- Exhibits mature organization and time management skills
- Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Self-starter able to work as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to recognize things in need of repair – and desire to fix them!

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
· Work involves daily exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise.
· Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
· Mobility: frequent standing for long periods; frequent operation of power equipment; frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, reaching, holding/grasping, and turning objects.
· Lifting: frequent lifting of 15 pounds or less; occasional lifting of 5-50 pounds.
· Visual: constant use of good, overall vision and reading/close-up work; moderate use of color perception and hand/eye coordination; occasional use of depth perception and peripheral vision.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
· This is a full-time position.
· Four 10’s schedule
· Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 12:30p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
· Flexible schedule for training on different shifts:
o Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
o Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Experience
· Five years in operations management preferred
Safety Management and Risk Management highly desired
Salary : $20 - $24
