Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, including patching drywall, fixing doors, and basic plumbing and electrical work.
- Assist with property renovations, installations, and maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, and minor building issues.
- Work on occupied and vacant rental properties with minimal disruption to tenants.
- Ensure work is completed safely and up to quality standards.
- Keep track of materials, tools, and job site organization.
- Three or more years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or construction.
- Proficiency in minor carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and manage small tasks efficiently.
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when working in tenant-occupied properties.
- Experience with flooring installation, cabinetry, or tiling.
- Knowledge of rental property maintenance and turnover work.
- Consistent part-time work.
- Flexible schedule with 20-30 hours per week.
- Competitive pay ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
