This is a part-time, flexible role with consistent hoursperfect for someone looking to gain experience, stay busy, or supplement other work.
Responsibilities
Assist with carpentry, demolition, drywall, flooring, and general remodeling.
Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and debris on job sites.
Support Lead Carpenters and Handymen with day-to-day tasks.
Perform basic painting, patching, caulking, and prep work.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean job site.
Work on occupied and vacant rental properties, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
Qualifications
One to three years of experience in construction, remodeling, or general labor.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools, such as drills and saws.
Willingness to learn and take direction from skilled tradespeople.
Reliable transportation to job sites around Seattle.
Experience in drywall, painting, flooring, or minor plumbing and electrical work.
Ability to read simple plans or scopes of work.
