We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team at our top salon. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds of dogs and cats. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the comfort and safety of the pets in your care.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming.
• Handle pets safely and gently to minimize stress during the grooming process.
• Provide additional services such as pet sitting or basic veterinary assistance when necessary.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pet grooming.
• Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of dog behavior and body language.
• Knowledge of various breeds' specific grooming needs is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively.
