The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide administrative support for the HR team which will encompass different aspects of HR including, but not limited to, recruiting & hiring, training, internal employee position movement, legal compliance, safety, project management and employee advocacy / employee relations.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Assist with HR daily processes including coordinating with Talent Acquisition Manager on recruiting, testing, interviewing & selection process, ensure legal compliance regarding applicant tracking, and provide administrative support for all HR recruiting events.
- Screen entry level applicants and provide routine information; maintain all employee application records. Send out or conduct authorized reference checks, process and receive criminal background screening results, and physical and drug test results.
- Initiate personnel actions, posting, hiring, promotions, reclassifications and terminations in our HRIS system (ADP WorkforceNow).
- Create and maintain employee personnel files.
- Conduct or assist in employee new hire orientation and the communication of employee benefits. Respond to routine questions and inquiries
- Prepare new hire packets, orientation materials, benefit packets and other employee communications for distribution
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Provide support to the HR Team Leader and HR Representatives including data entry, completing call logs, filing, running reports, etc.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs other duties as assigned
