Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Tool and Die Maker, located on-site in Beaverton, OR. The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for creating precision tools, dies, and special guiding and holding devices for manufacturing processes. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, working with various metals, setting up and operating machine tools, and performing regular maintenance on equipment. The role also entails ensuring precision and quality in all manufacturing activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams
- Experience with metalworking and machining processes
- Skilled in operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Ability to perform precision measurements and quality control checks
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience as a Tool and Die Maker is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
- Arc welding/brazing
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- CAD programming is required
Salary : $35 - $45
