Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor of Mathematics.
Pacific University’s Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science has an opening for a one-year, full-time teaching position starting Fall 2025 on the Forest Grove, Oregon campus. The teaching load for the full-time position is either 20 credits (5 courses) or 24 credits (6 courses) across the fall and spring semesters. Faculty contracts begin in August 2025. Pacific University is an independent, comprehensive university in Forest Grove, Oregon (about 25 miles west of Portland). The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science is part of the College of Arts and Sciences (ca. 1800 students), a liberal arts undergraduate college where faculty and staff are committed to an intimate, personalized education.
Qualifications
Requirements include a Masters in mathematics or closely related field, with teaching experience at the college level.
