Journeyman Power Estimator

Job Summary

At PacifiCorp, we are seeking a skilled Journeyman Estimator to join our team. As an essential member of our Power Delivery department, you will be responsible for meeting with customers to understand their load requirements and advising them on our service standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to determine their load requirements.
• Have a basic understanding of marketing programs and other company initiatives to serve customers effectively.
• Be qualified to perform estimating functions related to building, rebuilding, and maintaining company electric facilities.
• Shall have practical knowledge of electrical theory and detailed knowledge of construction specifications, electrical codes, rates, and service policies.
• Typical duties include meeting with new customers, documenting correspondence and work assignments, preparing right-of-way easements, making field surveys, processing crossing permits, and designing expenditure requisitions and supporting documentation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
