Job Description: We are seeking a Ranch Hand to play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of our 8-acre ranch throughout the seasons. As a Ranch Hand, you will undertake various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the ranch and the comfort of our dogs. The ideal candidate will be efficient, handy, organized, and able to work independently while taking direction as needed.
Duties:
- Leaf blowing the park area to clear debris and maintain cleanliness.
- Cleaning and organizing park amenities and storage areas.
- Daily cleaning of indoor areas, including vacuuming, mopping, and laundry.
- Monitoring and managing weed overgrowth to maintain aesthetics.
- Assisting with mulching and landscaping tasks.
- Organizing and storing seasonal equipment and supplies.
- Installing and managing various items inside and outside the ranch premises.
- Conducting regular checks for repairs or replacements around the ranch.
- Supporting general upkeep tasks around the ranch.
- Performing routine maintenance of equipment and appliances.
- Assisting with snow removal equipment and supplies.
- Monitoring and replenishing salt for the driveway to prevent snow and ice buildup.
- Conducting periodic inspections for weather-related damages to structures.
Requirements:
- Experience working with dogs is preferred but not required.
- Physically capable of performing outdoor tasks and handling equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to seasonal tasks and responsibilities.
- Experience with basic household maintenance tasks is a plus.
