Position Objective
This team member will be increasing sales of modular labeling machines to an end-user client base as well as through distribution channel partners. This position’s primary focus is to both develop new prospects as well as build relationships with existing clients to increase sales. Support is critical to our clients and that is why we are committed to the best service in the industry. The key to success of this position is consistently providing superb customer service to accounts through visits, constant communication, and representing client needs and goals within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and maintain client relationships, both new and existing.
- Implement sales strategies to grow territory.
- Cold call new opportunities and keep accurate client records for sales manager to review weekly.
- Understand equipment and application needs for each labeling machine.
- Become an expert and develop in-depth knowledge of company’s brand image, marketing strategies and products/services.
- Attend regional and national trade shows.
- Provide customer demos.
- Clearly convey information to help clients make buying decisions.
- Forecast sales volumes based on current and historic order rates.
- Document sales activities via Salesforce.
- Maintain awareness of competitors’ sales efforts and programs in territory.
- Coordinate with service technicians on design requirements.
- Handle administration of orders, pricing and required reports.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; two or more years of progressive outside sales experience, with manufacturing products is desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required
· Familiar with standard practices and procedures within the packaging industry
· Excellent communication and teaming skills
· Proficiency to work cross-functionally to drive business solutions

Physical Demands
