Job Title : Moving Technician - Location : Pompano Beach, FL, US
Safely operate large box trucks to transport customer goods
Wrap and protect furniture and fragile products with attention to detail
Ensure accurate inventory control
Load and unload 26-foot box trucks efficiently
Assist with packing and unpacking operations as required
Maintain an organized order of items for distribution
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and co-workers
Keep work areas clean and well-ordered, including job sites, trucks, and storehouses
Compensation :
Hourly rate : $18 - $24
Additional bonuses and incentives are available
Compensation :
18 - $24 hourly bonuses
Responsibilities :
Supervise a small team on the worksite to ensure proper preparation for each job, including reviewing job descriptions, required tools and equipment, and materials.
Verify the load out on the track for the day, as well as the assigned vehicle and personnel.
Contact project managers, insured individuals, and insurance adjusters before deploying for each job.
Operate a 16-26' box truck loaded with household contents to and from the job site.
Ensure the safety of all personnel at the job site.
Contribute to cleaning and restoring contents
Qualifications :
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Background check is required for consideration
Reliability is essential, including punctuality and readiness to take charge of the day
Technical proficiency in operating a smartphone is necessary
Integrity is important, with the ability to speak up if something seems amiss
Endurance is required for moving heavy furniture up and down stairs repeatedly
Positive "Can Do" attitude is expected at work
Polite interactions with colleagues and customers are necessary
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to handle projects with multiple destinations and complexity
