CustomersTrustPCA is seeking applicants for an Area Operations Manager position in the Northwest Area, which includes oversight of corrugated plant operations in Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Utah. This position requires travel approximately 50-75% of the time. The ideal candidate will be located along the I84 corridor between Richland, WA and Salt Lake City, UT.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Establishing the Area's strategic direction for annual capital plan including operational goals and expectations
Setting annual capital plan and managing spend plan with continued corporate adjustment as necessarySupporting and coordinating strategic capital projectsCoordinating strategic, infrastructure, and maintenance capital with local operating plansManaging and executing maintenance and discretionary capital planBuilding annual goals as well as optimizing and executing plans for the area including but not limited to :
ThroughputYieldMaintenance planning and reliabilityTraining and coaching of location PMs and Superintendents in ability to meet corporate and area expectationsSupervising and leading area-assigned Plant Optimization Engineers (POE)
Developing annual goalsCreating and approving work assignmentsCoordinating with corporate office on POE objectivesFostering and ensuring employee developmentBASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
8 years of corrugated industry experience in a leadership / management role with a track record of success.Strong financial & general business acumen.Demonstrated success in leading manufacturing teams including :Driving operational excellence for throughput, risk management, and quality systemsEstablishing preventive and predictive equipment and facility maintenance reliability systemsUtilizing cost management techniquesMaximizing yieldExperience in facilitating large and / or complex strategic business initiatives.Demonstrated ability to drive a market-based capital project including qualification (ROI), scoping, and execution.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience in a modern high-speed equipment technology environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
