PCA is seeking applicants for an Area Operations Manager position in the Northwest Area, which includes oversight of corrugated plant operations in Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Utah. This position requires travel approximately 50-75% of the time. The ideal candidate will be located along the I84 corridor between Richland, WA and Salt Lake City, UT.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Establishing the Area’s strategic direction for annual capital plan including operational goals and expectations
- Setting annual capital plan and managing spend plan with continued corporate adjustment as necessary
- Supporting and coordinating strategic capital projects
- Coordinating strategic, infrastructure, and maintenance capital with local operating plans
- Managing and executing maintenance and discretionary capital plan
- Building annual goals as well as optimizing and executing plans for the area including but not limited to :
- Throughput
- Maintenance planning and reliability
- Training and coaching of location PMs and Superintendents in ability to meet corporate and area expectations
- Supervising and leading area-assigned Plant Optimization Engineers (POE)
- Developing annual goals
- Creating and approving work assignments
- Coordinating with corporate office on POE objectives
- Fostering and ensuring employee development
